Caperion RMM is Caperion’s Remote Monitoring and Management service framework for proactively monitoring, maintaining, documenting, and enabling our team to work across client IT environments.

It is designed to monitor hardware, software, updates, connectivity, user logins, and dozens of metrics on all servers, workstations, network devices, and other critical components of a client’s IT infrastructure.

Caperion RMM does not track user activity such as files accessed, keystrokes logged, or anything that would be considered sensitive user activity. For this reason, Caperion RMM firmly protects the client, and puts Caperion RMM in full regulatory compliance by keeping your data your data, and only looking at what is necessary for technical support of your systems.

Yes. The purpose of proactive monitoring and management is to identify and resolve issues earlier, which helps reduce downtime and improve service continuity.

Yes. Remote management is a core part of the service and supports maintenance, software actions, patching, and operational response without always requiring an on-site visit. However, Caperion RMM does not document or store any private user credentials – meaning that we can access the system to provide technical support services, but it does not give us access to login to a system as the end user.

Absolutely. It’s the ideal model for SMBs by offering the fastest and most efficient method of preventative support, allowing our customers to focus on what they do best. Caperion RMM provides enterprise-grade IT oversight without the cost of a full in-house team.

An alert fires, a ticket is automatically created, and — when possible — a script remediates the issue without manual intervention. In the event that the automation tasks are unable to resolve the issue directly, the ticket is escalated for a technician to address. Everything is documented.

Caperion RMM is based on ConnectWise Automate (previously developed by LabTech), and is one of the most powerful RMM platforms in existence by iteself.  However, making Caperion RMM much different, Caperion owns, and hosts it’s servers in heavily secured private datacenter environments, keeping your all of our and our client data out of shared environments.  Then Caperion uses APIs and Integrations to combine Automate with many other tools and data collectors to make a seriously powerful management platform that puts all the needed tools at our fingertips to be of the most benefit to our clients. Caperion RMM is not just a dashboard or a stand along tool, it’s a full operational model.
